Summer is my favorite time to throw parties, something about sitting out in the backyard, grilling, and relaxing with friends. I was at Target the other day digging through the discount seasonal items when I came across these wet-dry pouches. I decided that they were going to be turned into DIY planters and used as party décor! We will be using artificial plants for this craft (because they are impossible to kill!) Let’s get to making, Are you ready to make these tropical DIY planters?
Supplies for DIY planters:
Watermelon and lemon wet-dry pouches from Target
28 x38in wet foam
Knife (not pictured)
Scissors (not pictured)
Artificial tropical flowers
Step one: Shave down the flower foam using a knife. You will want it to be narrow enough to it fit in the pouch.
Step two: Arrange flowers.
Step three: Secure the planter to the wall by nailing one nail on each side of the planter.
There you have it, easy DIY planters Now I need to plan a luau! Head over to Pinterest for more craft and party ideas!
