Superfood heart “beet” smoothie bowl
This heart beet smoothie bowl is chalked full of good for you ingredients that will give you energy and boost your immune system. Superfoods like goji berries and beets are blended with sweet strawberries, raspberries, pineapple, and bananas for this feel-good breakfast.

Ingredients
  • 1 Tablespoon dried goji berriesoptional
  • 1/2cup Frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2cup frozen strawberries
  • 1cup frozen rasberries
  • 1cup Almond milk
  • 1 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1raw beetwith leaves removed and washed.
Toppings
  • 1 slice dragon fruitfreeze the rest for future smoothies
  • chia, cacao nibs, or coconut flakes
  • frozen berries
Instructions
Beet smoothie
  1. Chop the beet up into medium pieces.
  2. To a high power blender add all the ingredients and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into a bowl, use a spatula to remove the rest of the mixture from the blender.
Toppings
  1. Using a small heart shaped cookie cutter cut into the dragon fruit slice. Place mini hearts on top of the smoothie. Decorate with additional chosen ingredients. 
Recipe Notes

You can sub frozen fruit for fresh fruit but you will need to add ice. However, for best results and texture try to use frozen bananas. The goji berries can be substituted for goji powder. I find my dried goji here.
