Ingredients
Cranberry sauce french toast
  • 1cup Cranberry saucerecipe below
  • 1cup Whipped cream
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2cup Milk
  • 6pieces Texas toast
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla extract
  • 1teaspoon butter
  • 2pinches Cinnamon
Thanksgiving cranberry sauce
  • 6 cup cranberries
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 navel Orangejuiced
  • 3sticks Cinnamon
Homemade whipped cream
  • 1cup Heavy whipping cream
  • 1 1/2Tablespoons Powdered sugar
Instructions
Cranberry sauce french toast
  1. Whisk together eggs and milk.
  2. One by one dip Texas toast into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides of the bread.
  3. Melt butter on a skillet and add coated bread. Cook until golden brown on each side. Around 2-3 minutes.
  4. Heat cranberry sauce in the microwave for 30 seconds. Top French toast with cranberry sause, whipped cream and pinches of cinnamon.
Homemade whipped cream
  1. Combine heavy whipping cream and powdered sugar in a bowl.
  2. Using an electric mixer, whisk the cream until stiff peaks appear. Be careful not to over beat.
Cranberry sause
  1. To a sauce pan add sugar, water, orange juice, cranberries and cinnamon sticks.
  2. Boil on medium for about 20 minutes until cranberries start to burst.
