Holiday decorations don’t need to be complicated. In fact, they should be fun and easy. That was my goal when I decided to put this easy bottle brush tree centerpiece together.
Bottle brush holiday decorations originated in post-WWII America when Addis bottle brush company began dying and transforming their toilet bowl cleaners into trees and wreaths. As with most things, bottle brush trees have made a comeback and are in the spotlight once more.
These trees are pretty easy to track down; most home goods stores carry a variation of them during the Christmas season. They come in a multitude of sizes and colors, and you can even buy them plain and dye them to match your own unique décor.
I have collected quite a few bottle brush trees over the years, and usually stick them around the house with the other decorations. But this year I decided to be more intentional and create a centerpiece.
This project is no muss no fuss, and it only takes a few supplies. Let’s get to making!
