Taking a bath is my favorite way to take the edge off a long day. I always feel rejuvenated after a relaxing soak in the tub. Adding calming scents to the bath water is one of my tricks for an extra soothing experience. DIY tub teas are a great way to infuse your bath water with lots of aromatherapy goodness without leaving behind a mess. Not to mention there is something whimsical about soaking in a giant bath full of therapeutic tea. I recently taught a DIY class and we made these little gems. They were a hit! You can’t go wrong with soothing lavender, chamomile, and Epsom salt! Your body will be totally relaxed after using a Bath tea!
Supplies for DIY tub tea:
1 cup Epsom salt

Essential oils (optional)
Step one: combine all of the ingredients in a bowl.
Step two: Scoop the ingredients into the muslin bags and tie a tight knot.
Step three: Steep the tea bag in the hot bath water for a few minutes before your soak and enjoy!
