I’m on a never-ending quest to improve my financial responsibility, or in other words, “adulting”. With that being said, one of my goals this year is to find new uses for my existing wardrobe, instead of always buying new pieces. I recently dug through my closet and found a pair of boots that I thought would look great upcycled! I have been in love with the pearl and gemstones boots that I have been seeing around lately. I knew that I could “bedazzle” these boots with a few simple embellishments, and it would be like I got a new pair of shoes. Hello, DIY pearl heel boots with druzy! This project took me around 10 minutes a cost about 15$. Check out how easy these are to make!
- Druzy & pearl stick on’s (I got mine at Michales)
- E 6000
- Jewelry pliers
- a pair of boots
Make, DIY pearl heel boots with druzy!
Step one: If the boots are used, clean off any dust with a damp paper towel.
Step two: Using the chalk make a small mark in the place you would like to place your stones.
Step three: Add a dab of glue to the back of your stone, then use the jewelry plyer to attach them to the boot. Next, use your finger to apply pressure to the stone for a couple seconds so it sticks.
Step four: Let boots dry overnight.
I hope you like this project, let me know how your DIY pearl heel boots turn out, don’t forget to tag your makes on Instagram #makingismybliss. What are some ways you are “adulting” in the new year?
