Have you ever owned an air plant? They are pretty awesome. They don’t need soil to live, just a little water.
I remember growing up my mom had an air plant magnet that I was totally fascinated by. I couldn’t understand how a plant could live on a magnet! It defied everything my little brain knew about science.
Now that I’m an adult I’m pretty happy to see that these plants are back in style. I love decorating my home with them. Recently it occurred to me: why not turn one into a pin? It’s a plant you can literally wear! They are very easy to work with and handle being glued to something just fine. So I decided to make a DIY air plant pin for all my #plantladies out there! Let’s get to making!
Supplies for DIY air plant pin
Back clasp broach pin
Step one: Glue the air plant to the pin. Apply a light amount of pressure to the pin for a minute so the glue sets. And that’s it!
